Concerned about climate change, energy independence, or air pollution?
Promote fuel efficiency as you drive with MPG stickers

Cars and light trucks generate over 1 billion tons of greenhouse gases per year in the U.S. alone, or 18% of total U.S. greenhouse gas emissions (EPA), which are responsible for climate change. They also cause widespread air pollution which impacts our health, and make the U.S. economy and foreign policy dependent on hostile countries with consequences ranging from high debt to wars.

Many affordable fuel efficient cars are already on the market today. MPGStickers.org is a non-profit initiative working to accelerate the adoption of fuel-efficient vehicles in the U.S.

Can we create change?
The Obama administration has already recognized the need for higher fuel efficiency, with new requirements of 35.5 MPG by 2016 (from 25 MPG for 2009). However critics argue this is too ambitious and question whether American drivers will buy these cars.

Strong public support is essential to accelerate the transition to fuel efficient cars in the U.S. By displaying an MPG sticker on your car, you can help make fuel efficiency a stronger value among the American public, and encourage more drivers to switch to a fuel efficient vehicle.

Here's what YOU can do:
1. Get a sticker
If your car gets 25 MPG or more, get an MPG bumper sticker and encourage others to do the same!

2. Choose a fuel efficient car
If you don't already own one, choose a fuel efficient car next time you change vehicle. See the list below for the most fuel efficient new and used vehicles.

3. Spread the word
Even if you don't have a fuel efficient car yet, you can help right away by talking to your family, friends and colleagues, distributing flyers, linking to this site from your blog, etc.

4. Contribute
All financial contributions will be used to buy Google and Yahoo! ads to drive more traffic to this site and further grow the campaign.

Can’t see your car? That’s ok, there are many other fuel efficiency car models on the road today. Check out the EPA web site: http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/findacar.htm for other vehicles. If your vehicle gets at least 25 MPG, help the cause by displaying an MPG sticker!
